Murwillumbah – the geographical centre of Tweed Shire encompassing 1300 square kilometres in the far North East corner of New South Wales.

Surrounded and protected by its magnificent mountain ranges and sub topical rainforests, Murwillumbah, along with the neighbouring villages boasts a steadily growing population, currently around 27,000.

The town is just 15 minutes from the Pacific Ocean Beaches, less than 30 minutes to the QLD border and at the centre of a picturesque valley featuring lush open farming land, rolling hills, pristine waterways and vibrant ‘locals’ who come from all walks of life. This busy Country town really has the best of all worlds.

The region can boast vastness in what is able to be produced in the area, including tea, coffee, tropical fruits and vineyards, but the region is perhaps best known for its success in sugar cane and beef cattle and dairy farms.
